Supporting Your Sacred Journey

Wicker Chair Wisdom CirclesSpirituality Resources

What is Spiritual Direction?

  • The practice of meeting regularly (monthly/bimonthly) with a trained professional to explore your sacred life journey by reflecting upon all aspects of your life (relationships, spirituality, work, desires, needs, joys, stresses, challenges…)

  • Self-reflective questions are offered to assist you in exploring where and how God is present in your life, inviting you to grow.

How can it help me?

Spiritual Direction supports your desire to:

  • Focus and center your life on your relationship with God

  • Deepen your prayer life by opening more of yourself to God

  • Pursue a more contemplative and reflective life style with a greater awareness of the presence and activity of the Spirit within

  • Use a structured, faith-centered discernment process when making significant life decisions

  • Live a more authentic life, integrating values and beliefs with actions and life style

  • Live more from your heart, less from your head

Who Uses Spiritual Direction?

People who desire to:

  • Deepen their prayer life

  • Explore what it means to live contemplatively

  • Process an experience of suffering or loss (of a person, a relationship, a job, good health, a belief system)
