My Philosophy as a Spiritual Director

Two quotes embody my philosophy. The first (from Walter Burghardt) describes spiritual direction as “taking a long, loving look at the real.” The second (from Paula D’Arcy) suggests that “God comes to us disguised as our life.” My role /function as a spiritual director is to provide a safe, welcoming space where you can take that long, self-reflective look at your life, discovering anew the Sacred Presence that has always been within—sometimes challenging, other times inspiring or inviting, but always and in all ways loving you.

Wherever you are in the process, whether exploring or desiring to deepen your relationship with God, I would love to journey with you, holding a welcoming, non-judgmental space where you can reflect on your sacred story.
